i would think she's referring to offering up devyn's role Dr. Janosk or whatnot (as opposed to the claim of the christmas ghost) and starting the entire bandwagon lynch.

Yes, really.

Time and time again someone outs somebody ... they don't seem any more prone to getting off'd than anyone else. I think the whole "wolves getting retribution" thing is just paranoia that doesn't usually play out. Most wolf groups seem a little smarter about picking a high-value target rather than just someone that gets some one-time info and drops it in the thread.

Right when I'm a wolf I don't usually think of 'retribution,' I think of the threat that a player poses in an ongoing sense. Someone who outs a wolf has an info source, they can claim it's an item or whatever but wolves have numbers and know things and convert people and also in lieu of knowing people's roles and having a queue of people who you want to kill it's probably never a bad idea to kill someone who investigated a wolf once all things considered. Worse case scenario you get a vanilla villager who got lucky, best case it's a seer.

Eh. I think most of the time when I'm a wolf I lean toward thinking they AREN'T a seer, because most seers don't want to out themselves - so I go looking for people they're connected to before I necessarily waste time taking them out. After all, at a minimum they're ALL vanilla villagers - so there's no difference killing one or another, you'd rather maximize your chance of taking out a high-value villager.

I've never played before and never been a wolf so I can't really offer any insight to the convo about how wolf tactics work.

Should be back to school around 8 so ill catch up then.

Sorry LIS...if you are trying to get out of me how I got my info it's not gonna happen. What kakuru said is pretty much all I meant. I haven't changed my game style---I just would appreciate some protection in the off chance wolves do not think like you and want to kill me off a day after I started playing the game 😛

And STB....Devyn was pointing out the "sounds" like bit, because she had already admitted to being an evil ghost before you voted...so it was a sure thing fo realz 😉

In a game with multiple wolf groups .... that's a pretty defensive rxn.

Thanks for explaining, shortnsweet. I was using my phone all weekend since I forgot my laptop at school and somehow missed the posts between yours and mine on page 19. When I looked at the thread after replying, I just started reading from my post. Didn't notice them/recognize them until I went back and looked at them just now on my laptop. So, I had no idea what Devyn was laughing at...My bad. I'll try not to be so "slow" in the future.

And I'm proud and excited to be going to Ohio State next year, thank you very much 😀
