Many of the Texas med schools have been holding their graduation/convocation ceremonies this week.
These are all-hands-on-deck events, and you will appreciate the care and attention given when you reach this stage of medical school.

The admissions committees are well aware of the upcoming calendar dates, especially May 15th which is the last day they will make a WL offer to anyone already holding a TMDSAS acceptance.
Hence, you don't need to call, email, or bug them, but you do need to read all your emails and answer your phone.
You may only have a few days to decide on a new WL offer.

Thanks for your reply! I am really hoping to hear back from the schools i’m WL at, but I submitted TMDSAS today with my reworked app so ready to go either way.

I’m also curious to know if WL movement has more or less peaked by this point? I’m aware that people can hear all the way to orientation, but I wanted to know how realistic I should be. Thanks for your insight!

Yesterday (May 15) was the last chance for that, so it is time to say farewell to the wishing and say hello to the planning.

What About Me?
This post is for you, the 2025-2026 TMDSAS applicants who had some interviews, but no Match.

Now that it's after May 15th, any remaining offers of admission from TMDSAS WLs will go to you, or to OOS applicants on these WLs.
Someone has to withdraw from a class for an open spot to be created. There could be various reasons for someone to withdraw at this point, either for a different OOS offer they are still considering, a new MD or DO school offer in a location they prefer, failure to pass a background check or school pre-requisite requirement check, or personal reasons meaning they cannot start school at this time.

Most Texas WL action wraps up in June.

Now what?
I hope that during this long year after submitting your TMDSAS application, you have been continuing to grow, learn, and add to your medical related experiences, and fill in gaps that may have kept you from succeeding this time, like community service work.

You must turn in a better and different application than last year if you are to succeed.
Turning in exactly the same application and hoping for a different outcome is a fool's move. Yes, that's me being blunt and plain-spoken.
Being a physician is an honorable career that requires life-long learning, know it.
