The Seven Habits of Highly Successful Medical Students

Great article, I do want to mention one thing about Rule #6.

One thing I found very helpful in med school to retain and strengthen my knowledge on a subject is to tutor others. In order to teach, you must know your material and drill it into your head. In addition, you must address different ways of looking at a subject and answer questions that you may have never thought of before. If you not confident you can do this, then just try to help someone learn the material and by itself, your knowledge base will grow so long as you are able to communicate well and minimize erroneous comments. Lastly, you will be helping someone in need and return favors can really help you when you need it.
