I've had a woman ask me "what is kama sutra? Is it a cartoon?"
and somehow manage to keep a straight face.😛

bumping because this is the first multipage post i've enjoyed reading through in a while...

oh, and experiences a bit tangential to laura mac's... i have been luck enough to hear "damn that's big" from two different girls (the second time I laughed and said "What?" I wasn't expecting that from someone who had seen more than 2) and "*pant, pant* where the **** did you learn how to do that?" from one

On my recent trip to NYC, a sales girl came up to me and said, "OMG, you look exactly like Natalie Portman-no, I take that back, she looks exactly like you!"

It was nice, although she was probably trying to get me to buy some things 🙂

No...actually I can't, but I just wanted to brag about something.

I was actually going to post this - but I really can do that. It's more like touching my nose with my tongue rather than actual "licking" - it's a great party trick.

I would be really impressed if you could do it in <14 min, or worshipping you if <13 min. 😉

I played soccer on my state's ODP (Olympic Development Program) all 4 years in high school.

My name is on a US patent and I was only 20 at the time - I was interning for General Motors as a product design engineer.

I worked on the precursor for XM satellite radio for Hughes Research Labs in Malibu, CA - I wrote the code to filter out atmospheric noise in satellite antenna transmissions based on an often used software data filter - also commonly known as a Kalman filter.

Ever seen the ACC (automatic cruise control) on the Jaguars and Lincoln's where you have cruise control according to the distance between you and the car in front of you instead of based on speed? I was on the development team and tested that in its infancy for Delphi Automotive Systems.

I redesigned the TCA (turbine cooling actuator) to get rid of the TCA problems in the Air Force C-17 for the Pratt and Whitney F-117 aircraft engine.

I'm currently a technical lead at Boeing for a classified missile defense techonology program.

And I can also touch my nose with my tongue 😛

I played civilization for 36 hours straight w/restroom breaks when it first came out...wow...madness

I don't give a XXXX!

Oh ya I forgot - I has admited as a JUNIOR MEMEBER to SDN.

Top that!

I saw Puppetry of the Penis when it was in Philly!! But after an hour....was sick and tired of seeing contorted penises! 🙄

Cool show.....never knew a penis could do some of those things....still can't convince fiancee to let me get the instructions book so he can try some of them at home. 😕 😕 .....uhh....yeah....he went too... now that's love!🙄

I can beat minesweepers, the expert level, in less then 300 seconds moving the mouse with my foot.

hats off to teachers out there. i teach 7th and 10-12th graders. it really is a hard job!

sorry for posting something boring amidst all the fun...

Bumping b/c this thread made me laugh

I can fit into (and sometime still wear) my little tees from elementary school (3rd grade), and no i wasn't a chubby kid!

hawt!

I finished Gran Turismo 3 with 100 % completion and all gold medals in every single race/test/license 👍

I make my own bras, since no company makes my size 😀

****ing 42AA. I think I'm a refugee from the East German swimming team...WNFL here I come

I also made a 4' by 7' mural this weekend for my dorm room. It's purty.

I have been to the North Pole on a submarine. Under the ice.

And I'm 11" AND a 36DD. Just kidding.

The submarine part is true though.

And I'm from Texas. In and of itself, plenty to boast of.

Wow, now THAT IS IMPRESSIVE. I stopped at 75%. Those endurance races are way too long.

Finally, someone who knows what I'm talking about. You know you're an hardcore gamer when you're up at 2 AM, hooked up to the ps2 for 3 hours of endurance racing 😀

Can't wait for GT4, although I won't have a lot of time to play it... * thinks about quitting med school to get more gaming time *
Nah 😛

i went from a chubby 173 lbs a year ago to now, 145lbs w/ pecs and a sixpack.

oh and I'm from texas too. preach on.

I'm running my first marathon in less than 2 months.

Ah, I can't wait either. If you have time, we can play some online races if it does come out. Then again, I will hopefully be on the interview trail by then.

Since I am in a video game mode, I have finished every major Final Fantasy game released in the US, including the old nintendo, gameboy and even Final Fantasy Tactics. Nothing too impressive but I am proud of that. Many many many hours of my life wasted.

Wow, you could be the first SDNer that enjoys videogames as much as me 😳. And sure, if we have time, we'll do a GT4 online game 😀. Oh boy, Final Fantasy ! I must have spent over 1000 hours on the whole series. The last one I played was FFX, and I really enjoyed it. Too bad Tidus had to leave in the end... Right now, I can't really play ( obvious reasons ), but I plan on catching up during the christmas vacations. Half-Life 2, Halo 2 and MGS 3 should be my gifts for making it through the 1st semester of med school :meanie:

Oh, and I wouldn't call it a waste. I plan on using my l33t hands/eye coordination skills for surgery 😎

FFX was a great game! FFX-2 was too quirky for me, but I sucked it up and finished it (need to maintain my completion rate!). I'm a HALO junkie too, but Fable is taking up my free time now when I'm not doing apps. Not too interested in PC games, though I did play quite a bit of Doom 3 for a while. Metal Gear Solid 3 looks great, but in the forest? Eh, can't be worse than Raiden in MGS2. Story got so convoluted and confusing in MGS2. Video games has been a big part of my life. Maybe I should bring it up during med school interviews...Good luck with the rest of your semester!

I pWn Halo on "Legendary" mode.

*sigh*

What was once a challenge......

Fable is out ? OMG !!! 😱 * damn med school and social isolation * 🙁

Thanks for the support, and good luck through with your application. 🙂
