Were the two patients flown into the U.S. for the good of their health or for our chance to try out an experimental Ebola treatment that ended up working?

It is interesting. As stated in the article, we can't really tell if the drug itself is causing the effect, or if the patients are simply beating the disease of their own accord. At the very least, it is great that they are recovering.
