Would it be too late to apply? Just found out about this school and I am very interested.

Just remember
(a) There is a real tuition distinction between Texas residents and non-residents
(b) This school has never graduated a class or participated in a match. Obviously every new school goes through this ie. Western, Arizona most recently.
(c) Their geographic location is "unique". You will be flying through Dallas for the next 4 years. I've driven from Dallas to the border myself. I've done Des Moines to Texas a lot. Dallas to McAllen is just over 500 miles. Texas is a big ass state. No one's done a 4th year at UT RGV yet, but hopefully they don't make you keep coming back because otherwise its going to be a lot of driving.

You should explore if its possible to establish residency in the state because the finances are compelling if its possible to become a Texan.

Honestly the non resident tuition is cheaper than the schools I’ve been looking at (DMU, AZ midwestern). The cost of living is so low compared to Phoenix. I’m Mexican and being close to the border and serving a primary Hispanic population is what attracted me to this school. Even with it being a new school I imagine it would still be safe because it is part of the university of Texas system (not from there obv so correct me if I’m wrong). I am okay with driving anywhere especially with all the plane stuff going on

It's not late to apply; the application is open till March 28th.
This is podiatry.... all are rolling admissions, whether they say so or not. 🙂
They accept until full, accept a few more (to account for ppl who don't matriculate, get into MD/DO, get into dent, or go to a different pod school)...
Then they just start accepting for the following year (and will offer those acceptees current year if too many drop out of current year).
