With all these threads with people with 2..3..4....15 interviews... I think those of us who are still waiting, for whatever reason, for an interview, can bond here!

I submitted my app Sept 14th. I was completed at schools that did not require 4 rec's a while ago, but the ones that required 4 rec's just were completed in the past week or so.

Pitt cashed my check 3 days ago. WVU FINALLY got my physics, chem, bio, dent LOR this week (then I found out I need one more english class cuz one if mine didn't count! trying to call them about it..... anyone think it will work? It was intro to dramatic writing that may not count...) Michigan is complete with my dentist's rec...

I know its my own fault for submitting late... but I didn't know I was going to apply until I got my DAT scores and was satisfied enough to apply.

So here I am....waiting!! Good luck to us all!

I submitted in mid-July, applied to 10 schools, re-applicant... have confirmed with every school that they have everything... and have heard NOTHING. No interviews, no rejections, nada.

Super frustrating... has anyone else had the silent treatment? 🙁

AADSAS mailed out on June 9th, applied to 15 schools, 3.5 cum gpa, 3.4 sci gpa, 18 on the DAT. Haven't heard from a single school.

you dont need to have that english class done until next fall, assuming you get into wvu, so you can take it during the summer if it's too late

2 rejections waiting on 8 schools and i applied mid july.

it's very stressful...in the mean time what is helping me is interviewing for actual jobs.

btw someone told me something that actually cheered me up he/she said "getting no answer yet is still better than getting a rejection". That's the only positive thing I can hold onto for now. Everyday I wait and nothing comes in the mail and I've called the schools, they have everything but im given the silent treatment.

don't worry i think you guys ( and me) need to wait a little longer. I submitted everything end of Aug and took DAT spet 15th( see predents) just got my first interview from BU yest. Also, it depends to what schools you applied. For example, tufts just started interviewing so there is still time NYU keeps on interviewing for a long time etc...

the waiting sure does drive you crazy... I'm still waiting for my first interview as well. I only check my email about 10 times a day and AADSAS once a day everyday... even on weekends (as if it would change on sat or sun).

I think I am in the same or similar boat as everyone in this thread. From what it looks like, I have very similar stats as many of you as well. I applied to 14 schools and I have only heard from Case at this point with a rejection. I applied in the middle of August and I took my DAT about a week later. Hoping for Ohio State but they only do three interview dates and the last one is coming up in December and they are letting those people know on Nov 13th. Good luck to everyone!

I totally understand everyones frustration. I am in the same boat as all of you. I honestly check my mail box 100000000 times a day and I even got email on my phone just in case they email me and I can check it right away (crazy right? ya i know). this is driving me nuts!

I dont know if some of you are in the same position as I am but I am starting to have dreams😴 of checking my mail and there it is....my interview letter . then next thing I know I get up from being way too excited and realize that its all a dream. sad right?

Why do I have the feeling that almost all rejection letters will come in one big pile in February/March? It's tough to be put on the back burner to only later be tossed out. Well this is my first application cycle so I cant speak from experience. For you reapplicants, did the rejections roll through smoothly or in one big pile?

I am guessing schools revaluate applicants based on their academic updates.

heyyy, yeah i just doing post-bac and masters prgm research and noticed that most prgms ask u to send 3 recs, sat scores...soo im tryin to find a prgm that does not require all those things...im currently a senior so im trying to boost up my gpa with this year's grades and then reapply in may again...then based on my gpa, im gonna either work for that year or enroll in a 1 year prgm...i guess lol?

i haven't heard anything back from any schools. should i start calling and ask them if my application has been completed? i sent out AADSAS on Aug 11 and took the DAT Sep. 29.

Submitted July 3rd retook dat july31, 2nd time applicant.. 2 rejections 11 more schools to go... I was hoping id get at least 1 interview.. what do you guys think maybe they will start calling us after dec.1st- after they accept the top ones & they start rejecting the schools?

i'm surprised to see so many people with decent stats (i.e. 3.4 gpa/20 AA) who still haven't received an interview. they will most likely come during the 2nd round or 3rd so hang in there...

although i know hindsight is 20/20, i don't understand why so many of you chose to apply so late with mediocre stats. i'm pretty sure many of you would have some interviews if your app was sent out in the first batch.

i don't get why contach really hasn't had interviews either with those stats.. 😱

unless you had full time work AND school and ABSOLUTELY no time to submit early, why wait? even with amazing stats, you still rob yourself of many schools that fill up their slots very early

I didn't apply this cycle but I know a girl who applied last year and applied VERY VERY late because our Pre-Health advisor told her to wait for her fall semester grades -not intelligent- and she ended up getting into IUSD. so keep your heads up and good luck! It seems like you all have good stats and I'm sure i'll be in this boat next year when I apply 🙂

I wrote the DAT August 21st, left home from the 22nd - september 2nd ish for a wedding.. then i got to school.. and i began approaching professors in person for references (i was in a different city for the rest of the summer).. I met with my last professor mid september about a reference, and have been waiting ever since for that one to get in.. It still isnt in, but schools have recieved everything else.... In the meantime (while I was waiting for said professor's letter which I knew would take a while), I thought why submit early if the letter wasn't going to get in till november anyways.. so i took that time to really work on my personal statement. Not to mention I have a full courseload, a thesis, and a very busy extra curricular schedule to attend to. And many friends who I haven't seen since April.

Then I wrote the Canadian DAT november 1st, and have been running around doing canadian applications recently...
Finally I feel calm approaching whilst I am placed in the eye of the storm as American ADCOMs will be evaluating my application.

I think it has just slowed down because most schools have invited most pre-dec interviews. in the next few weeks it will probably pick up again...I'm being hopeful.

i got two interviews (UT and LLU) and then like 4 rejections in a row. still waiting on 6 or 7.

so keep up hope, i think second round invites will pick up soon 🙂
