I found out today I was accepted into Nova Southeastern University Class of 2012 without having officially received my package in the mail yet! I had my interview on February 6th and decided to call the school and ask someone if mail had been sent to me. I DID NOT ask anyone explicitly if i had been accepted or rejected and under no circumstances did I even think I would be told over the phone. After looking up my file, the woman put me on hold, came back two minutes later, and said, "Jonathan, I have some good news for you...you have been accepted into the program." :hardy:. I am so happy that i'm in and that all these months of waiting have ended. It is apparent that all the hard work in school has finally paid off and busting my butt was all worth it, after all. 😀 The package was sent last week and i should be receiving it sometime this week.

My stats:

Pharmcas GPA: 3.93
PCAT score: 73
Pharmacy experience: 2 months of volunteer experience at a hospital pharmacy and I started working at a retail pharmacy as a clerk in late January.

I look forward to meeting all accepted NSU students this fall. 👍

Congrats Man!!! I hope to be in your shoes in 2 years!! btw how much time did you put into preparing for the PCAT?

I studied for the PCAT for about 6 weeks (month and a half) practically every day, including weekends, with few exceptions. I used a PCAT prep book by Kaplan, the 2008-2009 edition, and took a sample test about two days before.

That's great! Congratulation. You definitely have a strong "sixth sense". How could it happen like that? You made a phone, was put on hold, then waited and heard "you are accepted!" It's so amazing...
