how are you guys dealing with this application season? I submitted primaries 8/3 and was released 8/12. I have submitted all the secondaries I have recieved. I do have a pending mcat score which will be released 9/14 but I have a score already which according to admissions commitees, they will review my file with the current score and then re review it again with the new score. I cannot keep myself off of sdn for longer than 5 minutes. I am working 21 hours a week part time and will be retaking 2 classes this fall (bio I and phys I) but that doesnt start till 9/7. I am losing my mind a bit. especially with the schools that utilize websites. Im on them alll day. looking for a status change. I have even called schools to see the status of my application and confirm they have recieved my supplimental app and lor's. im dying here. I wish someone would just interview me already. dammit cmon. I think Im gonna head to the gym and work some of this off lol.

plus pcsom and wcucom hasnt even sent me thier secondary yet. they don't screen. its been 2 weeks. CMON. although I am out of cash. secondary fees are adding up quickly. I havent even submitted umdnj's and its my state school. although they havent asked for it yet. but still cmon.

plus im on hold for this semesters grades at vcom and im on hold for my new mcat at both lecom's. im dying here. these next few weeks are gonna be terrible.

believe me I know how you feel, I was you before yesterday at noon, lol, except I submitted my primary first day in June, so be patient, it took me close to 3 months to get anything.

My back up is garbage man they make BANK! Or a pool boy, I think there is some silent revolution that is making housewives hotter than ever.

I feel your pain Dr Y! Other people are now starting to talk about interview invites from schools I've applied to... Early!! Still I check my email every 2 or 3 minutes 'round the clock and .....NOTHING??!!!
:boom:

I work six 12 hr shift a week from 7pm to 7am, so trust me I know how it feels! I have read every thread on SDN at least a few times, I know exactly when the SDN network goes down every night (around 2am).

Sometimes quoting rap songs makes me feel better. The words of wisdom found in the seemingly simple-minded nature of rap lyrics calms me. It also proves that one doesn't need a professional degree to make millions. With that I present convict TI's No Matter What.

"Like a change in direction, even when you ain't planned it
All you can do it handle it, worst thing you can do is panic
Use it to your advantage, avoid insanity matters
To conquer, every obstacle, make impossible possible
Even when winning illogical, losing is still far from optional"

"Somehow I rise above my problems and remain here
Yeah, and I hope the picture painted clear
If your hearts fill with faith then you can't fear
Wonder how I face years and I'm still chillin
Easy, let go and let god deal with it"

i also work 12 hour shifts but wow.. id be dead if i had to do six of'm in a row every week. especially night shifts

Wow, I do 3-4 Nights a week and I think thats too much. I couldn't even imagine 6 nights/week. Granted I work in a 50+ bed ER and we do an ridiculously high volume in the summer, still... even in a quiet ER, I could not do 6. Hats off to you sir.
