Hey all! I take my DAT in about two weeks, and I've heard the week of the DAT you shouldn't take any full lengths and deplete your stamina. How true is this?

That being said, for those of you who have taken it, what did your schedule the week of the test (esp. the day before/of) look like?

Thanks!

That is not necessarily true because everyone is different. I actually think it is a good idea to take some type of test the week of the DAT to keep your mind in "test mode". However, if you start to feel burnt out take it easy.

I took bootcamp tests the week of my DAT. The day before my DAT I went through all of my notes from Chad's videos and worked on problems that I was weak on. The day of the test I got to the testing center an hour early and looked through a few formulas/ random notes while in the parking lot. Nothing crazy.

I took practice tests all the way up to 3 days before the exam.. 2days before I went through individual sections and took them timed but did not go the straight 4 hours.
the day before I watched anime lol.. not going to lie it helped a lot because I was not stressed going into the exam 🙂

It depends for everyone but I would recommend taking tests up until almost test day. I took my last test (2009 ADA) 2 days before my exam. And for the two weeks before I was taking almost a test a day, breaking after the full test length, then reviewing each test. This will build up your stamina and prep you for the actual test. The day before the exam and the morning of, I just reviewed a lot of notes I had taken to make sure I was covering everything I could.
