Hey guys. I took the fifth CPAT or so and at this point I'm getting 100% on everything except pattern folding which is like an 86%. BUT... I constantly get a 46-56% on the stupid angle ranking.

It's just so dumb! I've tried some techniques like imagining the bird mouth and rapid eye technique, but they're fairly bogus and not reliable. Anyone have anything concrete? On the KBB practice I only missed one (14/15) on angle ranking, but on the CPAT all the angles are like .001 degree different than the other lol.

Is this representative of the actual DAT?

Once again, any helpful techniques or tips would be great. If I can master the angles then PAT will be very doable.

Id smallest, eliminate answer choices that don't list it first

ID largest, eliminate answer choices that don't list it last.

Then if you still need to , try your best to just see it. Follow your gut

For some reason I was good at angles until the last 3-4 CPAt exams. I don't know if I lost my touch or they got harder towards the end. I pray they are easier on the real thing.

What's working for me is to narrow the first two down to the two first-listed choices in the answers. Most of the time there's only two choices for the smallest angle. The one I didn't choose as the smallest is second. Then I just have to pick the biggest, which is pretty easy most of the time. I'm getting almost all right on CDP.
