They say to have 2 of the LORs from science instructors, right? Does a Math/Statistics instructor count as Science? I'm wondering if they meant "Science" as BCPM courses.

depends on the school

I've read schools that say "biology, chemistry, or physics" professors (I think brown says that..). so just check on an individual basis

BCPM includes math and statistics. As mentioned above, do check with the MSAR or the individual school's websites to be sure you meet specific requirements of your target schools. In some cases, the schools may be interested in hearing from faculty who taught you in courses that included labs.

i think its from an earlier convo with @gonnif but some schools supposedly don't follow AMCAS guidelines that science = BCPM; meaning that science = only bio, chem, physics; and so, math = nonscience

but i agree that it's better to check with the schools to see what they specifically want before using the math letters

That was something weird like geology. Math is part of BCPM.
