"Hi guys I recently took the MCAT and got wrecked (lolz). I was wanting to be a demotologist, but oh well! Podiatry school is beneth me, and anyone can get into pharmacy school, but I've just always had a passion for dentistry. I just feel like it's my passion, you know? Passion.

And my Extended family at weddings won't think less of me when my parents tell them I'm in dental school instead of medical school. Could you imagine the discomfort my parents and family would feel if They had to say "nursing school" or "associate underwriter". The horror, people might not think I'm a special snowflake".

Btw my sweet, darling predents, 120k is 80 after taxes. Your slightly above average attractive wife (who thinks she is all that) who said yes when you popped the question only after you mentioned dental school might have to put a hold on that new BMW X5 with 500k in student loan debt staring you in the face.

Family and friends ask "dental school huh? like a dental hygienist?"

Us pre-dents: "No... to be like an actual dentist."
OMG!!! Story of my life +pissed+
Sometimes, they don't even ask to confirm. They just assume it's dental hygiene school.
I had one sculpture prof that did that. I told him at the beginning of the semester I was going to dental school. Almost at the end of the semester he said something like "when you are in dental hygiene school..." I was like "I'm going to be a dentist :eyebrow:"

"I'm going to dental school." *after first failing semester gen chem* "I'm switching to business."

That's why I just combine the pre-dent and business part together. The awkward part is when the business counselor expects me to counsel him what classes I need to take for pre-dent :bored: Can't say that I can blame him though.

"What does 'under review' mean?"
On this topic

Pre-December
"So how many of you who got an interview went from 'under review' to 'application complete'?"

Post-December
"How many of you went from 'application complete' to 'under review' who were accepted. I just want to know if I'm accepted or not"

Or you could wait to hear from the school instead of religiously checking AADSAS?
