Things to do to relax while waiting to hear back from schools

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I installed an application on facebook called "countdown calendar"

and put in the dates of when I will hear back from schools.

and also convocation.

Convocation seems so far away it makes the march school-news-release so much closer.... =/

Dude that doesn't sound relaxing AT ALL. Lol. Sounds kinda neurotic actually. 😛

I exercise. Have been busy training for a marathon. I also try to go out with friends who aren't pre-meds so I'm not tempted to talk or think about anything application related. Oh and I drink. lol. I have wine every night to help me wind down.

Watch TV, play video games, exercise, and just general screwing around. Does wonders.

You can always live your life. That's always something to do. 👍

Stare lovingly at my one acceptance letter.

Do lots of other things to keep my mind off of this. Class, work, tutor, watch TV, SDN (don't know that it counts), work on my thesis, celebrate Mardi Gras, drink, haha.

Unfortunately, one of the things I do to kill some time is SDN - that sometimes makes it worse.

But yeah, I just live my life and am thankful for my acceptances. Even if you don't have what you want, you can still have it all.

Yeah I was kinda sarcastic 😛

And yes. I am terribly neurotized. even worst than when the season began =p 😍

what i do is go out everyday and eat with my friends or just hang out. do some sports.
and do no school work at all. resulting in immense stress a few days before the test... and then u cannot think of anything other than the test
Woot!

Live my undergraduate life...as in school, volunteering, midterms, friends, Disneyland!, going out etc. My life didn't stop when this application process started...it just became more :scared: . It is nice though to be accepted so that I don't have to worry about my grades in my sometimes ridiculously difficult upper div bio classes. Sometimes I wish I was an easy major....

traveling! will be out of the country a lot in the next couple of months, even on my dooms days march 15th and april 15th. i will (hopefully) be having too much to think about anything else.
