For the SATs back in high school, they would provide statistical analysis for the scores, for example, the average scores vs. the month taken or the average scores vs. the year taken.

I was wondering...this is going to sound silly for me to ask...what month do people perform the highest, on average, (perhaps accounting for the preparation time, etc...) on the DAT?

To the best of my knowledge, this information is not available.

I've heard that toward end of summer around Sep,the average DAT will jump up and the reason is that, first of all majority of people had the whole summer to study and also knowing the fact that it is kind of late for their application process, they try to get higher score. This is what I've heard from my Kaplan teacher last year.He said if you want to send out your DAT by the end of summer or early fall you have to come up with a high DAT score because you are competining with high score people.
I want to mention also that your Q is not DUMB at all.I think,we all think about this.
Other people can correct me,if I am wrong.
