This is my premed plan

I don't know how much room they leave you for extra courses, but I don't see any Ochem, Physics, Calc, or English courses. These are required by most if not all medical schools.

Bash on high school teachers, insult everyone that replies to that thread, and then expects advice...

2 semesters of English is covered so is 1 semester of bio and chem.

Also Calc isn't mandatory

BTW

Which courses will count for BCMP?

I''m also Canadian

What the hell is UOIT? Go to a US university if you want to go to medical school in the US. Why makes things harder than they have to be?

You do know that all US medical schools accept college coursework done at a Canadian university, right?

I think the OP would be better off becoming a high school science teacher. Maybe he can teach trollology?

What about physics?

I can see it now....2 years from now....a post that goes sorta like this:

Subject: "Need help bad! Desperate! Hopeless and Desperate!"

OMG I wanna be a doctor, but my dumb stupid premed advisor told me that since I didn't take any calculus or physics that I'm not gonna have a chance to get into a US medical school. No one ever told me this would be a problem! My advisor is dumb! I thought calculus wasn't mandatory, I didn't know that it doesn't matter whether or not something is mandatory since schools prefer students who take BCPM difficult courses such as calculus, and other schools require it anyway! My advisor is stupid!

My lifelong dream is to go to a top 20 school and become a neurosurgeon and a trauma surgeon and a urologist, and now that might not be possible because I didn't take calculus or physics? Do I have any hope? Am I hopeless? My advisor is stupid and dumb! SDN please tell me now, for the first time ever, what I should do! Should I just give up on life? Please save my life!

conclusion: Don't get weird, just take goddamn calculus. And make sure a full semester of classes you are taking is taught by the physics department. Also you might want to check with your academic advisor to see how many premeds choose your major. Taking a bunch of classes that are probably gonna be covered again in medical school won't really set you apart very much, and it looks like a lot of your schedule might fall under this description.

Kk thanks for the advice I'll take Calc 1 just in case.

👍

My advice is to get a girlfriend. There's certain things you can do with her that are a lot more fun than creating threads on sdn.

I'm just going to create a new account because I love getting on your nerves

peace.

Fixed.

Why would any girl want to offer herself to the OP? OP will trick her into doing the moves when in fact he is trolling her...

You seem to have a bad history on this site. Also, you look to be a fan of a vulgar and hateful show. 👎 Goodbye sir.

Southpark is awesome. Sorry you don't enjoy it.
🙁

(Assuming you're talking about OPs avatar and assuming it's southpark; hard to see on my phone)

I'll try.

Those courses look pretty intense. Maybe you can take some pre-reqs during the summer months. Calc and general physics/calc-based physics.

Medical laboratory science sounds like a horrid major.

Also ALL of your courses are med related. Don't you wanna do something else too.

Get this troll out of hSDN. He makes us look bad. lolz.

That seems like a horrible major.

It's designed for people who want to do medical stuff yet more than half of the pre-reqs are missing.
