I noticed a few of my posts and a new thread I created in the past few days are gone from the boards...anyone else have this problem or know why it may have occured??? Thanks!!

I think they had database problems, so the restored site will only include what they had backed up...which may have been minus your posts/threads.

that's exactly the issue. the database was restored from backup and any posts after the last backup will not be there.
