well. I need some advice from everyone. I had an exam in Gen Chem II the other day and scored a 53% after months and months of preparing. I talked to my prof and he explained to me that due to another somewhat low test score of mine (another I spent months preparing for) I would have to earn a 80 on both the next exam and final to earn a C in the class.

any study tips or advice you guys have??.. I dont know what happend, I did so well in Gen Chem I... my prof is a real dingus this time around.

Thanks

well...i think if it is not likely that you'll get a C, you should w/d and take again with a new professor

Drop it and take it next year with a better professor. You're not going to make in the 80's after your performance so far. Not gonna happen.

How's everyone else doing? If you've got friends in there, compare your study techniques and the prof's grading with them. You should try to learn something about your study skills and abilities from this, even if you decide to retake/withdraw.
