Was anyone disappointed as I am when they released the prereq for the entering class. They listed Anatomy and Physio on there. I was really surprised. What other school list this class as a prereq? Hardly none, I would imagine. Now, I have to decide whether I want to take that class part-time somewhere.

The majority of schools have some sort of anatomy, physiology, or both in their prereq's. I would imagine only a few don't.

Yes, a lot of schools have anatomy, physiology, or both as a prerequisite. I can't think of a school off hand that does not require either.

And yay, good for me since I took both 😀

But just to let you know, UH Hilo had a minimum 3.0 requirement up for a while before revising it to 2.7. There is a slight chance they might change that requirement, especially as the process moves forward. Keep this school on your list for now and be prepared to apply come winter/spring in case they change things.

University of Houston in Texas does not require A&P. However, we have 2 courses called Organ Systems Life Sciences (1 and 2) in P1, which are essentially advanced A&P, and a bit of immunology. I am attending this school; however, i took A&P 1-2 in undergrad already (as I also applied to other schools like Mercer and Ohio State that require A&P). All in all, I've heard people say that it helps you a lot if you take it before hand. My school (Houston) also says that students report to better undertand materials in those organs classes if they have taken A&P ahead of time in their undergrad.
