What do you guys know about this school for EMOT? Anything good??
I am from FL and trying to decide between this school and FIU... I am not too confident about FIU because their program is ranked #69, I believe.

I literally was accepted there yesterday! It's a great program and very well respected. It's very competitive because it's in a great part of Philadelphia, the program and it's professors have been around for a while, almost perfect NBCOT Pass rates, and is ranked 6th in the nation by us news and world report. I'd apply!! Good luck happy to answer other questions.
 
Does anyone know the average size of TJU's OT cohort?
 
I asked the current students and they said the class size is around 70. I think that's with a combo of bs/ms and emot.
 
I believe they said they take about 5o not including the bs/ms students.
 
One of my friends is in the program at Jefferson right now. She loves it 🙂 Stressful, yet exciting and rewarding at the same time. It's one of the best schools in the country. If I was accepted, I would LOVE to go to Jeff. It's also in a better part of the city. When I visit that part of the city and see students and doctors walking around I get so jealous!
 
Hello! I am a Jefferson hopeful. My app was verified on Nov. 11 and they didn't send me the supplemental app til December. I haven't heard back yet. I emailed them recently and they said I'd hear back from them in the near future. Does anyone think I still have a chance to get in?
 
I sent in my supplemental application in December as well, and still haven't heard anything. It sounds like they've already done quite a bit of interviews, so I was wondering if they've already filled up and I just applied too late?
 
I received my supplemental in early December or late November and I was just offered an interview on Saturday.
 
I chose March 10 as interview date. Does anyone have any info about how the interview goes?
 
what other interview dates are there besides March and did anyone get waitlisted or accepted yet
 
I am interviewing on March 20th. Does anyone know if they are group or individual interviews?
 
Jefferson is rolling admissions and they have been interviewing since late Nov. I interviewed back in January, it is a group interview.

Do you know about how many students they have accepted thus far? Were you accepted? And what was your interview like? i have one coming up but it's really late in the game. At this point I don't even know if it would be worth going. I was already accepted elsewhere and sent the money in so I'm not sure what to do.

No idea how many people have already been accepted. I was accepted and will be attending. Interview was with 7-8 other people and they went around and had you all answer the same questions, and then there was a partnered activity you did and later answered questions on.

I know that there are being interviews done tomorrow and next week. So hopefully you should hear after that. Have you had an interview?
 
Yeah I did and I'm just waiting to hear back from them now
 
The waiting game is the most difficult! When was your interview?
 
Last week. I know they have interview dates posted through the end of April. Have you interviewed?
 
I just know acceptance day is the 28th of April. I got accepted Feb 12th but for the other program.
 
I know for EMOT there's an accepted students day at the end of March

How long did you have to wait after your interview before you heard back? After the interview, do they just make their decision on how the interview went, or do they look at your application again? I've heard of schools doing both, so I'm not sure what to expect!
 
I heard back within 2 weeks. I think they look at your entire application to make the final decision

They sent the information out for accepted students day after your initial acceptance.
 
I interviewed at Jefferson last week. Does anyone know when we should expect to her a decision?
 
I am not sure about other people, but I interviewed in January and heard back a little less than 3 weeks later.

Hey I got waitlisted for jefferson bs/ms program on feb24 was recently told by don sharples that I would receive and update around 4/1 haven't heard anything today though was any one else waitlisted?
 
I was waitlisted at Jefferson too and also didn't hear anything today. They must have just postponed e-mailing out the "updates"
 
Oh I'm only applying for ms. I got the e-mail update today though. Did you end up hearing anything?
