That send out mass secondaries like NYMC, SUNY, and U. of Chicago..

How do they handle them? Do they just take the money and do a cut off somewhere? What's their deal?
 
i wouldnt be surprised if they did man....

but i agree with the sentiments of the title of this thread 😉

It is my understanding that medical school receive no money from AMCAS. Therefore a good number of schools will automatically send out a secondary application and collect the fee to help run the admissions office.

Really? Man.. admissions offices must make good money. About $100 from probably several thousand applicants. Good stuff.
 
The reality is that you don't have to play. But if you want to play the game, you have to play according to the rules they set. Unfortunately, they have the upper hand!
