Hi danjo! What kind of response did you get? did it take long for them to respond? I interviewed in Nov. too but my evals weren't sent. I'm kinda nervous that with the holidays and all, my file won't be complete again 🙁

Sorry for the delayed response...I just got around to checking this thread again! I received a response to my e-mail within one day. Brian wrote back immediately to let me know that my evals were in, and that my file would be reviewed on the 8th.

CONGRATS!!!

I just found out that I'm IN TOO!!!! I called Brian at 12 and he put me on hold for a few seconds before telling me the news. My heart never beat like that since the last time I fell in love 😍 !

Instigata - Hang in there! From what I understand, there is typically quite a bit of movement on the UCSD waitlist. We're all pulling for 'ya here!

I am in too, and super excited (it is my alma mater after all)

is that like 4 sdn people in one day? pretty sweet

and instigata pretty sure they told us (and probably told you too) that they end up taking a very very large number of people from the waitlist

if it is a first choice i suggest you wit a while and send a letter of intent, I have heard that they respond fairly well to those...

i'd like to join the party too. it was exciting as Dean Kelly didn't call until almost 6:30 pm on tuesday (PST). make it 5 sdners in a day... go ucsd! (oh, btw, interviewed with only 2 others on 12/7)

haha...Well i wanted some advice from you guys. I posted a thread a while ago about updating schools with my grades, and now i am kind of stuck.

I received an A, A, B+ last quarter, which will slightly lower my GPA (3.9 GPA overall & BCPM). I wasn't sure whether to update schools with these grades, but I spoke to Brian and he said I could update UCSD with grades for hopes of getting off of that horrid waitlist. Any ideas? Would it look bad to update with these grades, seeing that they are not up to par to my overall/BCPM GPA? THANKS and congrats to everybody who got in! 👍

out of curiosity, does anyone know if people can be taken off the acceptable pool list throughout the interview season, or does all that movement occur after may 15th?

Sorry to hear that lilold3chordme...but from what I understand movement only occurs after may 15th. Sucks doesn't it?
