Your stats look quite strong to me, especially in the academic department; honestly, I think you’ve got a pretty good chance of being accepted to at least one or two of the schools you listed. NCSU has the cheapest IS tuition in the country so that would probably be your #1, I’d imagine.
Thank you! And yep, NCSU is my dream school!

I don’t think you’ll have any trouble getting accepted but on the off chance that you aren’t, you could pick up a non-animal/non-vet med related hobby or job or something. It would make you more well rounded 🙂

Thank you! That's my plan if I don't get in (and hopefully I will!) Working on making room in my life for things outside vet med 🙂

Look at class stats for the schools you're interested in attending (if posted), I think you will agree that you will be fine. Also jealous of that NCSU in state tuition.

Your stats are excellent. Knock on wood, you will surely get accepted to multiple schools. On the off chance that you don't get accepted to NC State (not in any way insinuating that this is likely to happen), do a file review asap. NC State will be your cheapest option by far. According the VIN calculator, your next cheapest option would be Purdue and that's approx $66k more expensive than NC State. Tufts would be $150k more expensive. And it's likely more expensive to make a longer distance move. Just things to think about.

On the off chance you need a 2nd application cycle, I'd suggest to shadow/work with a large animal or equine vet to round out your veterinary experience hours. Hopefully they will recognize your equine animal experience. Best of luck you!

Ikr I got really lucky there! *crossing fingers for that sweet IS tuition*

Thank you so much! I'm REALLY hoping for that IS tuition... NCSU has been my #1 choice for a long time, and I've tried to tailor my application to them, so hopefully it pays off...
