Hi All,
I'm about to submit my rank list...problem I have is that there are two AWESOME programs that I REALLY like and both have awesome reputations....I just dont know which one to put in front of the other

any overall opinions on Iowa versus UMich (Kellogg)?

they are both fantastic and I loved them both...so I cannot figure out which one to put where...in the end they will be top of my rank list, i just dont know which order

gah...i know this is a good situation to be stuck in...and i realize i'm a long shot for either....but thoughts from y'all would be more than appreciated!!!

They're both excellent programs, no doubt.
Think in terms of where do you want to live, weather, any family or friends in either area,...
Also, remember that just by asking this question, you're in a way better situation than a lot of the applicants.

Yeah I know they are both good programs...and I hate being "that guy" since I know that I am lucky to have this choice...but for me, I cant figure out which way to go with it...i dont have any ties to either area, the weather is similar, no family either...neither is super close to an airport...etc

in the end I want to do academic medicine, and some people suggest Iowa is the way to go in this case....then others say Michigan...

I just dont know 🙂

i think if you don't mind living in iowa, i would say iowa is a better program and would probably rank them higher. it's a great situation to be in though, congratulations and good luck!!
