Hey guys so I was planning on applying this cycle but since my GPA's aren't as high as I would like them to be, I have been looking into Master's as well. Is MPH a good route or masters in natural science better? One or two years?

sGPA~3.0
oGPA ~3.4
DAT: 21 AA, 20 TS, 18 PAT, and no other section below a 20.

Hey! I think an MPH is okay, but if you get a Masters in any science, that would be good too. I think either will help show that you can handle upper division coursework. Definitely pick a one year program and apply this cycle! Or you can maybe even try a post-bacc, taking upper div classes at a four-year near you? Once the Academic Update comes around, you can input your grades and that'll help. I don't know too much about Masters/Post-baccs, but @thenextcarnegie does for sure and can help ya. Good luck!

Hi!

It depends on what you want to do. I would do a MS in Biomedical since your GPA is at a 3.0 exactly. An MPH can be helpful if it's done at a dental school so you have a chance to network with the school. You can also pursue an MS in Biomedical Sciences such as Barry, Boston, or Tufts. They usually have a link or an interview chance in most of these programs. Just make sure it has some sort of connection to the school (at least that's what I always suggest). Hope that helps!

Thanks for the responses! I will look into these.
