Hey guys,
What's your opinion on these scores?

I got the physics passage in RC and it took 35 minutes to do and burned me in RC.

PAT-17 (42.4%)
QR- 19 (92.9%)
RC- 15 (13.7%)
BIO- 17 (55.7%)
OC- 18 (64.2%)
GC- 25(98.9%)

TS- 19 (82.8%)
AA-19 (85.4%)

overall GPA is 3.45
science GPA is 3.7

I have 150 volunteer hours at helen hayes hospital and 35 hours shadowing a dentist.

What are my chances for NYU, Boston, Tufts, Maryland, W. virginia?

Thanks guys for your input

I'm worried about RC for you. I think it would be wise to save your application money and retake it.

I heard somewhere on here that most schools have a cut off of 17 for the RC section (I cant confirm whether this is true or not). Just call the school's your interested in and ask them. Killer GC score by the way!

How bad is the physics passage? I already got Piano'd...the last thing I need is to get this passage. What's so bad about it?

I doubt it's that bad... I mean, how can you really blame the test for asking too hard of questions? If the OP was 20+ material for RC he would have scored around there. Remember, it's percentile... a scaled score. NOT a raw score.

I wouldn't settle for those scores, personally. If you can do great in GC, then you can do great in OC and Bio. PAT gets better with more and more practice. An RC of 15...I don't know man, that's super low. Your PAT is borderline and your RC is probably below a lot of cut-off points.

If you can manage an sGPA of 3.7, then you can knock this test out of the park. I say take it again and show it what you're really made of.

Best of luck to you, whatever you decide.

I agree with everyone above.

RC is kind of in the danger zone.

and if you are good enough for 3.7 sGPA I think you should consider that 19TS is sort of an under-achievement. you can pull easy 21-22 I think.

PAT you can improve dramatically even if you have no idea where to start, everyone here on SDN did.

I think with a better prep. I think you will score 20+ AA easy. Take another crack at it man. Good luck!
