The following is my Spring schedule:
Molecular Biology
Bioinorganic Chemistry
Immunology
Virology
Pharmacology
I am thinking of dropping Pharmacology to make things a little easier on myself. Any thoughts?
I am done with the prereqs and just looking to pick up my cGPA and demonstrate my competence in the sciences before applying next spring.
Even with a high sGPA, I would think it'd be better to wait before applying with a cGPA that low, maybe do a post-bacc or something, I'm not too versed in all that. Anyone more knowledgeable want to comment?cGPA is in the 3.1 ballpark. Undergrad GPA from many years ago is what is holding it back. I only have a 32 on my MCAT to counter this.
sGPA is in the 3.7-3.8 ballpark.

A URM with my stats has a 65% chance of admission.
The average MCAT for a Native matriculant is a 27.7 with a cGPA of 3.48 and a science GPA of 3.39. I am above the average MCAT and sGPA. https://www.aamc.org/download/161696/data/table19-mcatgpa-raceeth-2010-web.pdf.pdf. I was hoping that that would make up for my abysmal performance in International Finance many, many years ago.
Sorry, I missed the post (there was one?) where you mentioned you were URM...A URM with my stats has a 65% chance of admission.
