35R (13P, 12V, 10 BS) mcat, 3.1 cgpa, and 3.3 sgpa. 3.7 sgpa with grade replacement of F in Orgo II. I failed cause I didn't withdraw in a timely manner.

URM: latino (Guatemalan)

Home State: Ohio

ECs: one year volunteering at a hospital. Took a job working for an online website. Periodic volunteering.

No research.

Some shadowing.

Thinking Ohio state schools, MSUCOM, Case, Dartmouth, Brown, Iowa, and Johns Hopkins.

Have you looked into Temple and UIC?

I'm not an expert on these things, but I don't believe you qualify as URM because you were born south of the Mexican border....

URM typically refers to Mexican-American, Black, and Native-American.

I think it is up for the schools to determine who qualifies as an URM, the op should definitely indicate ethnicity on his/her application.

Yea I agree, and I'd mark down my ethnicity on AMCAS too if I was in the OP's shoes, but just something to keep in mind.

For all intents and purposes, OP will probably be considered a URM at most schools (if not all) that he applies to. I am neither Mexican-American nor Puerto Rican, but most schools I asked said that I was still URM (because of Latino).

They tend to look more for community involvement to make such a determination, it seems.

I would add Einstein to your list.
