Hi. I am applying to med school this cycle and I wanted some input from people I don't know about my chances. Undergrad GPA of 3.501 in biochem with a sGPA of 3.51. I am taking my MCAT in late August. This fall I will be taking a few grad level science courses and probably TA'ing. Up to last semester I was predental but have been having second thoughts.
Any opinions of my chances?

Pretty good... apply broadly, to both MD and DO. That GPA is fine. Kick the living daylights out of MCAT. As for switching from pre-dent, no big deal... Up until about 2 years ago I thought I wanted to be a cop. Lets focus on the MCAT, get our LORs in order, and get applying here very soon...
