I suggest applying to all the pod schools and applying early.
As a podiatric physician, you can still treat patients, practice medicine, and even do surgery. You also usually earn a 6 figure salary and have good working hours.

Either you study and prove that you really want this or you quit and look at alternative careers. Med school is pretty all much standardized testing from what I have read and from folks I know who currently are in medical schools.
