This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.

Why was the thread on the international research opportunity for medical students thread locked? Seemed like a perfectly appropriate thing for the allopathic thread. I would certainly much rather read that than some of the other drivel on here.

Boo to the moderator that made that decision.

People can't register on SDN to spam ads on the forums.

It seems a little hypocritical to not allow promoting valid granting agency announcements in the forums when SDN spams it's own forums for it's promotions..

There's a huge difference between SDN using it's own site and someone else registering here to spam in violation of our TOS. We mods are certainly open to organizations contacting us about things like this. We work together with lots of organizations that have items/programs that are useful to our members.

Mea culpa. I'm so programmed for spammers that I didn't realize who's account I was dealing with. The threads have all been reopened.

*edit*
the AAMC contact asked that the threads all be closed. There is contact info in each thread, so if you have any questions please contact them directly.

Weird. I wonder why the AAMC wanted the threads closed. I always like it when there are events, programs and opportunities that I might be interested in on SDN.
