I go to a school with full-time internships every other semester. By the time I apply, I will have completed 4.5 semesters as opposed to 6 semesters, with two 6 month internships.

Will this fill the requirement of schools that want 3 years in college before applying? Here is the example: Application Requirements

Thanks

It's much more common to see a requirement for 90 semester hours on the transcripts in order to have one's application considered.

Do APs that are taken for credit count in the total, I have 12 credits of APs that my transcript counts

How many hours will you have when you apply? Did your school give you hours for AP or just credit to take higher level courses/fulfill requirements?

Yes, AP credit hours awarded by your university (and recorded on your official college transcript) count toward your total credit hours when applying to med schools, but all schools don't accept AP coursework toward fulfilling prerequisites, so read the fine print carefully on each school's website.

They gave me actual credit. I will have 77 + 16 = 93 hours when I apply if I do a second internship, or 77+32 = 109 hours if I take classes all of next year.

To add to @Catalystik comment, Medical Schools will use credits as the metric for how long youhave been in school. For this, 90 credits or more on your official transcript which will them appear on your AMCAS course transcript is what medical school. The source of the credits, whether coursework, AP, or internship does not matter, nor does it matter if the credits were earned piece meal or done as a regular, fulltime student. So CTFO; your fine
What is CTFO?

And thanks

EDIT: Got what CTFO means... will do!

It is one of the many acronyms that prospective applicants must understand and follow if they want to be successful and not stress out over the process.
