Okay so I had a lot of AP and dual enrollment credit. I know that everyone says if you do your undergrad in three years you won't have time for ECs. I am going to have 100 hours of shadowing(w/ 2 doctors), 120 clinical hours, an honors thesis, three clubs, an internship, and 2 years of research in a lab. Should I take a gap year after my three years of undergrad or should I apply summer after sophomore year. Also how would I answer it if I was asked why did you graduate in three years because I legit have no real answer. Like I could answer I was able to easily do it. Also not sure what my gpa will be, but probably somewhere around 3.7ish.

You have a legit answer: you had enough credits to graduate in 3 years.
In your case I'd always advice to take a gap year, if only for self-discovery, but your ECs look fine and may grant you an admission, depending on your GPA/MCAT. You could be a more competitive applicant with more -life- experiences though.

Totally agree that based on what you've mentioned you are a strong applicant. Would not hesitate to apply especially if you have an equally strong mcat
Okay that's good to hear. If I fail the mcat then I think I will take a gap year to improve, and if I dont fail (hopefully) then I will definitely apply. Thanks!
Im new to sdn so I wanst really accepting replies for a few days, but this is awesome.

@claduva94 has had success this year applying in his 3rd year of college. Maybe he can offer additional insight?
One answer to "why three years" is "financial reasons".
That's definitely a legitimate reason and it's not really "attack-able".

Thats true. Financially it won't make a difference for me, but if they do end up asking I will probably say that I had the credits and it was financially better as well.
