Many of you weren't kidding when you said many of the questions came out of left field on the MPJE. I have never left an exam, either standardized, computer-adaptive or academic more convinced of a failing grade than I did today. It seemed like a huge series of questions contained answers that were all viable, yet somehow I was supposed to choose the MOST correct answer. The best way to describe this test in one word is arbitrary. I have no idea how the passing rate for this exam is so high when I'm guessing half the time. I bet the test proctors were having a field day watching me on camera in the testing room. I must've put my hands on my head or raised my arms in disbelief every 3rd or 4th question.

I better start studying again...

I took the mpje before naplex and i felt the same way that you are feeling right now while waiting for the results. I can only remember 2 questions that i did not guessed on and all of the questions were really out of this world! BUT upon receiving the results i so happy i passed i don't know how but i did!!! I know you will too!!! Just relax!

I pretty much walked out and started laughing. I mean, there is nothing I could have done to prepare for that type of exam. Now I have to just wait for the verdict. I felt so happy last week passing the NAPLEX and this just brought me down to zero. *UGH* :scared:

See...I told you studying was negligible...

i got this bad boy saturday morning. im getting ready for the screw over!

Just got my score in the mail today. How the h-e-double hockey stick I got an 81, I have NO idea. I think the general consensus is that if you leave the exam insisting to yourself that you failed, you probably did OK. I was utterly convinced of a failure, but passed by a lot more than I thought.

Good luck to everyone taking exams soon!

I would be more than happy to answer any questions or address any concerns any of you might be having regarding the NAPLEX or MPJE. I found that the advice given to me on these forums saved my life. PM me anytime.

Congrats!!! I am going to take Naplex on the 22nd of this months like 6 days to go. I would really appreciate it if you would give me some pointers. thanks again

did you check to see if your license appeared online before you got your score in the mail? I took my MPJE on monday and my license is not yet posted online....kinda freaking out b/c i feel like i failed....

in general, how long after taking the exam does your license show up online?:scared:

Funny that you ask me that. Moments before I checked these forums, I was on the phone with my state board wondering why my status had not changed even though I received both of my scores in the mail already. Crazy, eh?

I felt like I failed. I think we all do in the case of the MPJE. Just relax. When I saw that envelope in the mail, my heart dropped. I knew my status hadn't changed yet. But I peered through the envelope saw the score. If anything, just call your state board and see what the hold up is.

well still nothing in the mail but my status changed online today!!! i passed :hardy: and now the fun begins........

What a huge weight off your shoulders, huh?? Congrats! Such an accomplishment can NEVER be under-appreciated!

I left thought I did really well on my MPJE, was happy for a week, got my score, barely passed, am still pretty happy. Granted the state i took the mpje was not the state I worked at during pharmacy school. moral: convince urself during the test you did well, and be happy. 🙂

Couldn't have said it better myself.
