This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
The key is finding something you like doing and is helping you grow. Something that is more than just an activity to check a box on your application. By finding an activity you are passionate about you will be able to write about it on your application and talk about it in your interviews.

If you're in a position to be picky, I would find one with underserved populations and/or hospice which has basically been the main talking point during all of my interviews despite my hours being on the lower side.

I think the OP @Kieldertrio is in 10th grade looking to enter BSMD. I don't think clinical experience is required for that. Perhaps some shadowing will help? Volunteering for sure

Yeah I do clinical experience. I do MA work at an internal medicine clinic. I just wanted to see if there were any differences between the clinical experiences. I'm doing everything I would normally do to enter med school like shadowing, researching, clinical experience, nonclinical.

For high tier programs, a lack of shadowing and volunteering will be focused upon negatively (like at Pitt). At lower tier programs just volunteering will be fine (from experience)
