Guys, I just wanted to get your thoughts on this. See if you all are experiencing the same..
One of the clinics I work in has had a lot of frustration because doctors are demanding that their patients get scheduled immediately. The clinic has one PT and one PTA with the occasional second PT able to come in. The office typically sees about 13-15 patients a day when there is only one clinician and a little over 30 when they are both there. They each work four 10-hour days a week and occasionally come in on the 5th day as needed.
These doctors have expectations that their new patient be seen sometimes the next day or even occasionally the same day!
Anybody else seeing this same problem? Anything you've done to alleviate the situation?
