Time Commitment for Step II

I know everyone has their own schedule, but thought it would be interesting to see how many hours and how many days everyone is studying for Step II.

 

[Carm]

Three weeks total. Two really hard, and fine tuning the week before the test. Had the luxury of having a month off. Took the test on Saturday and felt like this was plenty of time.

 

[Swaydaa]

Took 7 weeks from start to finish during two really cush rotations (M-F 7am till 12/1 p.m). If I had not been in any rotation, I probably could have done 2-4 weeks.

1 week and 1 day after my 12 week medicine clerkship. A number of my other friends took 2 weeks. All of us scored above the mean. No complaints from me. But we were all studying our butts off for the OSCE, the in house exam and the shelf for medicine right beforehand.
