When interviewing at UCSF, one student mentioned that the school is ranked as one of the least time-consuming dental schools in the nation. Does anyone know where such a list exists? Alternatively, how does this compare to other CA schools like UOP, UCLA, etc.

Additionally, when this person reference this list, it was not in terms of clinic hours. Overall chillness basically.

It's probably not an actual ranking...that student is probably comparing their work load to other dental schools...I would be reluctant to listen to such "opinions" because each person reacts differently to the dental school course load...what matters most is how prepared you are for the rigorous amount of work ahead

Dental school workload is sometimes as much or as little as you want it to be. For example we are making an interim crown tomorrow and are able to use a crown prep we already made, but some people in the class have been using open sim clinic hours to work on more preps, while others are fine using the prep they have. That's an example of one person seeing pros as a lot of outside work and other student seeing it as a very little commitment outside of class.

Maybe because its time to graduation is only 44 months? Ive actually heard UCSF is more demanding in the biomedical sciences.
