For the science section, is time a big factor? Or is there enough time to calmly work out the problem, or even check the answer?

I always finish with 10-20 min. remaining.

Why don't you try a practice exam and see for yourself. IMO, this is a pretty dumb question on which to be starting a new thread. You'll have all your answers to your concerns after doing just doing one and can make adjustments at that point.
