I was hoping some of you recent graduates could give me some information. I was wondering what steps you took to receive your dental license after walking the stage at graduation. I know that all parts of boards need to be passed NDBEI/II, clinicals/CRDTS, etc... Knowing that what else do I need to do?
I have heard that sometimes it takes 6-8 weeks before your license is processed and you can begin practicing. I personally feel that this is a long lay off between school and the real world. Is there any way to speed up obtaining your license?
Is it possible to get your license and legally start practicing the Monday after graduation?
Should I plan on going on vacation for a few weeks after graduation while my license is being processed?
Any answers/opinions would be great!
Thanks
