Reading the posts and seeing that people are getting interview invites already is making me nervous. Here's why-

My school has a horrible rotation schedule, so to make a long story short the only time I can do my EM rotations will be Sept and Oct next year. Will doing these so late put me behind the ball with respect to getting interview invites?

It may be rough if you are trying to get letters in earlier as some programs will already be offering interviews (or even be full already as Henry Ford is now full). I've found that the letters can make or break you as some will take 1+ months to get done and it is hard when you are waiting for a letter and the clock is ticking.

See if you can't shift your schedule around and do one in Aug and Sept instead. Most deans offices will help you out if you explain.
