Do schools generally care how old your classes are? I graduated with a biology degree in 2007 including all the required pre-reqs. I've been working as a research assistant ever since I graduated and have recently started thinking about dental school (was originally planning to apply to pharmacy school).

2007 is fine. Some schools don't like to see anything beyond 10 years.

It depends on the school. I know Loma Linda explicitly requires that they were taken within 5 years. I talked to a couple other schools, and most of them said that they don't have a specific requirement, but prefer that they were taken within about 5 years. If you graduated in 2007, that means you must have taken your prereqs starting around 2003, so I would definitely ask the schools you're interested in whether or not that's ok. I started taking mine around 2000, so I ended up retaking all of them. Some schools may be ok with it if you score well on the DAT.

One thing that schools make take into consideration when debating whether prerequisites are expired or not is your continued education, and occupational background (e.g. - graduate level classes, working in a research lab, etc.).
