Time management skill...

Hi all,
This might be a redundant question but if any good test taker out there
has any advice on effectively managing time on the DAT, especially on the QR and RC sections please share...
I often find it hard to stay within the time limits in these sections

Personally to speed up on the RC - I just kind of mentally shifted my attitude towards it. I noticed when I was treating it like something really difficult I was really panicking a lot and therefore losing a lot of time. When I adopted the attitude of just seeing it as some article I was reading online just casually (like a science article or science topics off of Wiki).. then it became a lot easier and I loss less time with panicking. Sounds simple but it sure helped me a lot.

Also, in between each of the 3 sections I took a tiny mini-break to help my mind shift gears/avoid time loss later by getting the topics confused with each other. I just simply closed my eyes for about 2-3 seconds after each RC passage. That little investment was worth it to me.
