Are any of you planning on taking a year off after dental school to do any travelling? I know many people have loans, so I don't know if this is even realistic.

There's no reason why you couldn't nor shouldn't do it. I did it and didn't pay my student loan for 2 years; and there's nothing the bank can do to you if you decide to not pay your student. You gotta have some spare money for travel and you might be rusty returning a year later. You need to be concerned with getting into dental school first.

I took a year off and loved every second of it. Dental school is intense, as was my undergraduate experience. That year off definitely helped me relax and made me refreshed for the following D1 year.
