As PGY 2s, we can work 24 hours with 4 hours to finish up our work and sign out, correct? How much time are we supposed to get between the 30 hour shift and the start of another shift?

actually 10 is recommended, 8 is required per the ACGME.

Actually, it's 14 hours after a 24 hour shift. The 10 Should / 8 must is after shifts that are <=14-16 hours in length.

thanks for the correction...the 30 hour shift hasn't been relevant for me for a bit so i completely forgot!
