Because of my situation (off-cycle) I will be attempting the scramble this year. Any words of wisdom from either former scramblers, people who have friends who were scramblers, PDs, or just anyone wanting to give me their two cents. Thanks.

Well, not knowing anything about you my advice is this:

Get the list of open spots Tuesday and start calling programs with openings.

I would also talk to your office of student affairs. They wil probably be instrumental in helping you through the scramble process. You will want to have LORs, transcripts, dean letters, etc all ready to be faxed. Especially if you did not fill out an ERAS application

Yes I know all that, but I was looking for any magical tips aside from the basic advise. Thanks anyway.

unfortunately there are not magical tips. There are few spots available to lots of scramblers and no one knows where the spots are going to be before that faithful day. All you can do is call the programs with spots and try to convince them to hire you.
