Time to start panicking?

Hey everyone, I applied to 9 schools this year..sent pharmCAS around the beginning of august...sent in supplementals for them all before the end of September...and....

I haven't received 1 interview...is it time to start panicking? It seems as if so many interviews have been given out already..is there still hope? 😕

No, don't freak out just yet. Can you give some more insight into your situation (ie: where you applied, possibly a gpa, any red flags you might have in your app?) That would help in assessing this but relax it's still early-ish.

I applied to western, touro, UOP, LLU, Northstate, UH Hilo, UW, and Creighton, and MCPHS

GPA is around 3.2
PCAT is 89
pharmacy tech for a few months
volunteered at a pharmacy for 2 years
bachelors degree in biological sciences

I thought for sure I'd get a northstate interview at least! But NOTHING!

Hrmm. You applied pretty early and I can only speak on behalf of the california schools listed:

Have you received the supplemental from Touro? Touro is extremely quick at getting back to their applicants if they are interested in interviewing them following the supplemental (1-2 weeks tops).

If you made Tier 1 or 2 at UOP and still havn't heard back, then your goose is pretty much cooked.

Northstate has sent out the invites for their first interview date on Dec. 5th and will only have 1-2 more dates max (both in January). So you still have hope there.

By all means though don't give up hope, you still have lots of chances and with that high of a PCAT composite you are very competitive out of state.

To make you feel better, UW and Creighton won't start interviewing applicants until January or February. Which MCPHS campus did you apply to? Worcester has started interviewing applicants already, but I don't think Boston has started yet. Western's first interview date is in December and I know that they haven't invited anyone yet because they don't have rolling admission.

I applied to worcester! I check my mail constantly! And I guess touro is a lost cause...I submitted the supplemental a while back. 🙁 But thanks guys for instilling a little faith 😳

Honestly, I would worry about Worcester, UOP, and Touro. For the rest of the schools, they haven't even had a chance to invite any of us yet. I would start to expect invites sometimes in November or December. I also submitted the supplemental application to Worcester back in August, but I haven't received an invite from them yet. Although you earned a high PCAT score, too bad Worcester doesn't take that into account.
