When exactly does everyone have time to study for Step 2? My clinical rotations and assignments can barely get done, let alone studying time for Step 2. Also, in our school, we go straight from M3 to M4 with no time off. What does everyone else do? I'm baffled. I spent so much time studying for Step 1 and did average. Also, when do you take the test--which month? Our school gives very little direction. I'm a M3 now. thanks.

I am so glad someone else asked this question. I was wondering the same thing. I'm extremely busy now too.

I'm sure your school has some allowable time to study for the exam. At our school you can either take a month off or register for a one month prep course that we offer for Step 2. If you HAVE to do clinical rotations I would suggest either an independent study or something like Radiology. Good luck!
