Hi everyone,

I am finishing up 3rd year rotations, with last one being IM. I want to do well on Step 2 and would like to get advice on how much time I need to study. Little bit about me
Step 1: 221
Desired Step 2: 240+
3rd year shelf exams: average

I end rotations in mid July with IM. My SubI is supposed to start in first week of august. So it gives me about 3 weeks to study for CK. I am not sure how much time I will have to study during IM as its a busy service and we work 6/7 days of the week. Should I cancel one of my SubIs and add another 3 weeks for dedicated studying time or is 3 weeks enough?

Please advice...I would really like to improve my score and match into program close to family. Thank you!

Study hard for the IM shelf. >50% of CK is directly from IM. If you do well on the IM shelf, then 3 weeks or so should be more than enough to crank out a 240+ on Step 2.
