First, a brief explanation of my situation: I haven't followed the standard undergrad path. I ended up going to college five years after graduating high school. Because of the many classes I had to take to catch up, I will be graduating this December from community college after three years there and transferring to university in January. During the Spring semester, I will be taking biochemistry and physics I, and then physics II during the summer.
I was planning on using those as partial prep for the MCAT, which I intend to take in either August or September of next year. My question is, if I follow this, will I still be able to start med school in 2018? I'm new to the whole process, and wondering if applying in 2017 would allow for a 2018 matriculation? I've talked to a few people who have given me different information; some say it's fine, some say I won't be able to start until 2019. Thanks and sorry for the noob questions!
